Playing Hide and Seek

April 29, 2015 by Margaret Filed Under: Around Town, motorcycle fellowship

Fort Worth HOG playing hide and seek

Do you remember playing hide and seek when you were little? Have you ever played it while riding your motorcycle? I have to tell you when I saw it on our chapter calendar I wasn’t sure what to expect. I think the uncertainty is part of the fun though.

We arrived at the dealership around 9:00 and got signed in. As more bikes arrived the excitement and curiosity grew! I always enjoy the time before the rides. We get to chat and catch up with other members.

Head Road Captain giving briefing

Before each ride there is  short briefing where our head road captain, Kevin goes over the details of the ride. We found out that we would be given a map that would lead us to our first stop, at the stop we would be given a map to where the next road captain was. Doc was out along the route watching  for any safety issues and Kevin left about 20 minutes after the last bike to ride the route and make sure no one got lost!

I missed taking a picture at the first stop but it was Jimmy hiding at a school on Aledo road.

Stop2

At stop 2 we found Geneva. She explained a slight detour that we needed to make because of some road work.

Stop3

Bob was waiting for us at stop 3.

At stop 4 we found Richard and Don! We chatted for a couple of minutes and the we were on to our final stop.

Our Final stop took us back to Fort Worth Harley where we found our director Kim waiting for us! All together the hunt was 2.5 hours and we road about 100 miles.

As always we had a great time! Here are the rest of pictures I took during the Hide and Seek Ride.
